Mikeys Biography
I have been visiting Las Vegas since 1968 and have lost count of the number of times I was there. Our favorite casino is Fitzgeralds where we get an RFB (Room, Food, & Beverage) comp.
I worked for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer for five years, and the Seattle Times for twenty-five years and have been retired for three years. My wife and I now live in East McKeesport, PA about 14 miles east of Pittsburgh. I am originally from the Seattle area, and lived there most of my 59 years until we decided to move here to Penn's woods. My wife, Teri, was born and raised in Lawrenceville, PA, so she really likes being back home after a 12 year absence. She was living in Miami Beach, FL when I met her via eHarmony.com. I am a Webmaster, and also enjoy reading, travel to Las Vegas & Atlantic City, steam engines, old farm equipment, alley shopping, dumpster diving, railroads, listening to big bands from the Swing era, and nice afternoon naps.
My favorite TV shows are: The Sopranos, 24, Law & Order, CSI: Las Vegas, ER, Prison Break, Medium, Without a Trace, and CSI: Criminal Intent.
I refuse to watch any television show that has canned laughter. I don't need to have someone tell me when something is supposed to be funny.
My favorite recording artist are: Tom Waits, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Lou Rawls, and Enya.
My favorite movies are: Schindler's List, The Honeymooners, Victory at Sea, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Cool Hand Luke, Casino, Goodfellows, Aliens I, II, III, IV, and The Godfather I, II, & III.
